The former Suits star is saying goodbye to social platforms.

E! News reports that Meghan Markle deleted her Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018. The news comes not long after the 36-year-old and her fiancé, Prince Harry, attended their very first royal engagement of the new year at radio station Reprezent 107.3 FM.

It's worth noting, however, that Markle's accounts had been inactive for a while before she finally got rid of them.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Markle shut down her lifestyle blog, The Tig, in April 2017. The move caused fans to speculate that things were starting to heat up with her then-boyfriend Harry. And while the pair did get engaged later that year, a source told People that Markle stopped her blog in order to focus on acting and philanthropic work.

Considering that Markle has since retired from acting, it'd appear that the move to delete her social media accounts stems from her presumed interest in joining the royal family in all of their charitable endeavors. In a November interview, she explained, "I think what's been so exciting [transitioning] out of my career and into, as you said, the causes I can focus even more energy on, very early out of the gate, [is that you] have a voice that people listen to, a lot of responsibility."

Markle and Harry are expected to marry on May 19, 2018, at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.
