According to E! News, however, Jackson and her producer ex may not be dating again quite yet, though a source said that they were "getting close again."
A second insider told the celeb news site, "She is good friends with Jermaine. They share a very close and beautiful bond. He's been there for her and she loves that about him." While the source offered hope that Jackson and Dupri could get together again, they noted that it just hasn't happened yet. "Anything can happen in the future but right now she has a lot on her plate," the insider said.
Jackson and Dupri were previously together for about seven years before calling it quits in 2009. In 2012, Jackson married billionaire Wissam Al Mana. As Nicki Swift previously reported, Jackson and Dupri had gotten back in touch since her separation from Al Mana. However, at the time, a source said that the two were only friends. "Janet is really not in a position to get involved with someone at this time," the insider said. Still, the source noted, "Jermaine has a crazy love for Janet and they have been speaking more since the breakup."
